Staying the Course – Strategies for Building Sustainable Production Companies

In the course of this edition of Business & Legal, film, TV and games’ producers and private sector investors will explore best practices in enabling creative production businesses to stay the course, achieve financial sustainability and become competitive in their respective segments of the audiovisual content marketplace.

Through three panel, we will look at the spectrum of challenges that arise for audiovisual sector entrepreneurs in achieving those goals and the ingredients behind some success stories. The discussions will range from raising initial corporate finance or venture capital, to leveraging IP, diversifying across media and creating ongoing value through the constitution of back-catalogues of rights and their ongoing commercial exploitation across the whole range of available markets.
